Fodder for this Blogger…Round Top here I Come!

Round Top antiques fair starts next week, and can you
believe it, I have never been there during the twice
annual shows! and as much as i love antiques, junk
and clutter you would think this would be my favorite
stopping ground! well, after Tuesday, Wednesday and
maybe Thursday, it just probably will be. hope it doesn’t
take the place of “My Favorite Place on Earth-McKinney”
but oh well, guess there is space in my heart for
2 favorite places to visit! Here are a few photos taken last
year right after Round Top week, when I was passing through.
I am going as a VIB, “very important blogger” for the
Margurger Farm show so can’t wait to see some of
my favorite vendors like Carolyn Westbrook, Linda and Ludmil
of Willow Nest Farm and others! I will be blogging all my
photos next week so check back to see what you missed!

photos taken last year about this time… new ones to follow in abundance!

Oak Cliff to McKinney in a day

My day started early in Oak Cliff, at orientation for the Dallas International
Film Festival, starting March 31- April 10. I was also shooting the
days happening at the Texas Theater, a new venue for the festival!
Along Jefferson Street, are ton’s of Quinceanera shops, looks like
big business, and I couldn’t help but photograph some of the
beautiful dresses.

After leaving Oak Cliff and heading back North for a photo shoot
with actor Ted Ferguson, I decided it was too nice of a day to
sit inside editing my day’s 2 shoots! So, off to McKinney,
my favorite place on Earth… to see what new clothes The
Little Red Hen had and then on to Smitten, Unique Unique Design,
Chase Hall … of course, and then to Patina Green to sit for a
spell and have a glass of their delicious tea… I love sitting there
in the little dining area, picking up a donated magazine and
listening to the finches in the front window cage… and the
pretty, relaxing music they play. Then off to look around
at houses to see if there was anything that Mary and Jackie
might like! Oh, and here is Ted Ferguson, in case you were
wondering what this actor looked like!
